World’s Oldest Rodeo®

Since 1888, Prescott Frontier Days® has hosted the World’s Oldest Rodeo®, making it one of Arizona’s most beloved Independence Day traditions. The 139th annual rodeo returns June 29 through July 5, featuring eight performances packed with exciting rodeo action, including bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and women’s breakaway roping. Prescott Frontier Days® Parade

One of Prescott’s most cherished traditions, the annual Rodeo Parade brings downtown to life with colorful floats, horses, marching bands, community groups, and plenty of patriotic spirit. Rodeo Days Fine Arts & Crafts Show

Rodeo Dance

Location: Downtown Prescott

Keep the celebration going after the rodeo with the annual Rodeo Dance. Enjoy live music, dancing, and a lively Western atmosphere as locals and visitors gather to celebrate Prescott’s rodeo heritage. “Freedom, Fun & Fireworks” at Watson Lake

Location: Watson Lake Park

Set against the Granite Dells, this event includes live music, food trucks, and family activities. The event runs from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with fireworks over the water at 9:00 PM.

American Heritage Day at Sharlot Hall Museum

New for 2026, Sharlot Hall Museum is hosting its inaugural American Heritage Day celebration.
